I hope she'll interrupt her concert to rant about her left wing politics. She's such an intellectual. Sort of like Senator Kerry, easy to embrace liberal postions when you're fabulously wealthy.

If I win the tickets Angie they're yours!

Thanks Fredo. I'm not interested in her politics, just her artistry. :)

I'd like to see AngelaJossy perform at the Tacoma Dome instead.

I had no idea that fredo had this grudge against Lady Gaga. What did Lady Gaga ever do to fredo?

by fredo on 8/15/2010 @ 10:35am
Crentshaw, I'm pretty sure GAGA will be providing you with some front row passes. She's going to want someone to lead the crowd in a standing ovation when she begins regurgitating her tiresome anti-American ramblings.

Her "Poker Face" song for some reason gives me bad dreams.
Just that one song, no other ones by her do.
No idea why.

Fredo, I know businesses opening early because of Lady Gaga.. If your business was in Downtown you wouldn't be complaining. Not only concert goers but there will be a Gaga Flash Mob in Downtown Tacoma bringing hundreds of more folks. Can't tell you where it will be cause I have been sworn to secrecy.

by fredo on 8/16/2010 @ 7:47pm
What, pray tell, is a GAGA FLASH MOB?

by fredo on 8/16/2010 @ 8:31pm
Hey, maybe Mayor Strickland will join GAGA on stage to help her denounce the state of Arizona. And (here's a possible Tacomic for you RR) maybe Mayor Strickland could wear a white wig, some knee high boots and skimpy undergarment as a tribute to GAGA. Jake Fey too!

@Fredo: If we had a mayor and city council that would do that we'd live in the best city in the world! I love having city reps who are also real people. All politicians should be so open and personable.

by Crenshaw Sepulveda on 8/16/2010 @ 10:11pm
You might be right Kevin but I'm not sure I want to see Jake Fey in a dress.

Gaga's Tacoma Dome event coverage in the Seattle Times:

Don't be coy, fredo, we know you'll be leading the Gaga flash mob.
We all remember fredo from the lu ning ning at the Tacoma Dome the last time it was here.

Thorax - that song is very annoying. It doesn't give me nightmares but I wish it would leave the airwaves and the overhead speakers at my gym.

I'd rather see Fredo at the dome than GaGa.

PS - this is the 2nd blog I've seen today where the right margin is too small and does not accomodate the text. What's up w/ that?

Lady Gaga is cool but when is Lord Goo-goo coming?

by fredo on 8/22/2010 @ 6:59am
The Lady GAGA Monster Party Show has now concluded it's Tacoma date, and I have to say I've never seen so many people wearing fishnet stockings, sexy wigs and exposed lingerie and that's just the men.

Angie I hope you were able to attend.

I did not get to go unfortunately. I couldn't afford the tickets and I no longer receive press access to such events. I did however have a fabulous evening with great friends doing very Tacoma-like things: Mad Hat Tea Company, Music and Art in the Park, dinner at Hob Nob, Neon Bicycle jump and drinks at Puget Sound Pizza with a few of my favorite compatriots: Linda Lapping, Maureen McHugh, Judi Hymen, Patricia Lecy-Davis. I even got to hang out with Daniel Blue for a while. It was a VERY Tacoma day indeed.

by Crenshaw Sepulveda on 8/22/2010 @ 2:53pm
Angela, is there hope that Daniel Blue will be returning to Tacoma? I know Tacoma pushed Daniel away but in his heart he really didn't want to go. What can we, as the citizens of Tacoma, do to bring Daniel Blue back to where he belongs.

by AngelaJossy on 8/22/2010 @ 6:50pm
Since I am not the publicist for Mr. Blue I can only tell you my opinion which is far from informed on the subject and that is that certain opportunities exist in Seattle that musicians are not afforded in Tacoma and if I were in his position I might do as he has done. His album has upward mobility right now and we should be proud of him for that and support him wherever he needs to go to move forward with it. He still visits his favorite places and people in Tacoma and occasionally plays shows here so what's the difference if his address says Seattle now?
