Life after 106 degrees

Here's what I've been up to

After losing a lot of days to that heatwave (Desiree and I escaped to Long Lake in Lacey because our house was too hot) I am now playing catch up and trying to fill my schedule with $100 days. Money has not been flowing easily in my direction lately. I posted on my Facebook page couple of days ago that I am inviting prosperity into my life. Funny thing is, as soon as I did, something shifted and things started happening. Check out my day yesterday for example:

Yesterday started with a consult with an acupuncture clinic that needs brochures, then I picked up my daughter Jesse, went to visit my brother at his collision repair shop, showed Jesse the apartment at the Winthrop that I hope to get approved for, tried unsuccessfully to get the manager to show us the ballroom or the penthouse, went to pick up a check and ended up doing an unexpected consultation with a friend that needs a website, walked on the dock on Ruston Way with Jesse and scoped out her new love interest, did a phone consultation with a fashion designer who needs some PR help, went to a meeting for women business owners called Ladies Who Launch, went home, cooked steaks for me and Jesse, watched part of a movie, made modifications to a logo as per new instructions from client, took Jesse to University Place to drop her off with friends, met with Solar Richard at Robert Daniel Gallery to discuss Electro-Pop lighting for the party August 15th then came home to watch Warehouse 13, ate watermelon and roast beef and wrote this account of my day for Facebook.

Did I make any money for all that running around? Well, I did receive $60 in the mail for the old refrigerator and freezer that I donated a few weeks ago. That's something! :)

I also made new friends, spent time with my daughter, made new client appointments and generally made progress toward my goals so I'm thinking all in all it was a productive day.

Projects I'm working on:

* Electro-Pop Art Party at Robert Daniel Gallery August 15th
* ART DOORS (in September - date TBA)
* Art Makes Me Smart (a multi-discipline art workshop for teenagers)
* Moving downtown
* Opening an event space/gallery
* Creating the $100 A DAY NETWORK business plan
* Networking with small businesses and individuals who might need my help

Things I need:
* Money to catch up on bills and get car insurance
* Money to re-register my domain name (my website is currently offline because it expired)
* Money to pay 1st, Last and Deposit on new place downtown
* Time and space to work on new music
* Beautiful fun-loving boyfriend to take me to the movies
* Lots and lots of people to buy tickets for Electro-Pop Art Show:

WHAT DO YOU NEED? Maybe I can help. I am pretty resourceful.

what can we do to help you quit smoking?

Raise the tobacco tax up another $8 per pack?

Do you know how much she would save by not buying smokes all the time.

at least $6 a day, I'd guess

I only smoke 2-3 cigarettes a day so I buy a pack roughly every 7-10 days. And I smoke ultra lights (always have) though its inconclusive that its any better than regular cigarettes. Anyway, my plan is to go as many days without smoking as I can. A lot of times I'm so busy that I totally forget to smoke. So, though I'm touched that you remembered that I was trying to quit, it harder when you make me think about it! :)

You should learn how to smoke like Morticia Addams does in the original 1960's TV series of the Addams family.
