Product placement advertising opportunity

A friend of mine is putting together a music-related TV show in Seattle. It has been a popular radio show for nearly 10 years and a sensational live show in Seattle for the last couple years.
With only minimal amounts of financial backing he has used his former acting connections to make real ground with Hollywood and NYC. He has the right contacts and the attention of some major power brokers. Now he just has to prove that he has the goods. In March he is shooting the pilot which will be shopped to several major networks.

He is looking for product placement sponsors who will pay $500 to have their product given away to a lucky audience member during the show. Since the show isn't officially picked up yet he is only asking $500 per product with a maximum of 6 products. (Compare this to $100,000.00 for a similar opportunity on a show that is already airing nationally.) He is also promising the opportunity to have the product featured during another episode at the same price should the show get picked up. That's a big deal. He also said that product placement sponsors will be provided with the video clip featuring their product in the hands of his celebrity guest so that they can show it on their company website.

This kind of product placement advertising can result in huge boosts in sales nation-wide. If you are looking to expand your audience beyond the local market, this could be your chance.

If you have contacts or connections that can help with this please let me know. I really believe in my friends project and though I can't name names publicly yet, (Andras Jones) I can tell you that his other friends (Rae Dawn Chong, Andy Dick, Drew Barrymore, Toy Newkirk, Ian Moore, Tig Notaro, Dan Bern, Jill Sobule, John Diehl, The Bird & The Bee, Darryl Bell, Jenna Fischer and Natasha Leggero) who are much more famous than me believe in this show too.

Thanks,

~Angie
