Tollefson Tables
I drove passed Tollefson Plaza yesterday and saw the famous $35,000.00 tables and chairs. I only got a quick glance but there seemed to be 5 tables with umbrellas and a few chairs around each. I didn't see if there were also new garbage cans and planters too because I only got a quick glimpse. Do any of you know if the rumor is true that they payed $35k for that stuff? Was that taxpayer money?

At first I was alarmed at the price... I was all dude they could have gone to costco and bought enough chairs to fill the entire surface area of the plaza. But then I read andrew fry's blog and learned about the weights. enjoy the umbrellas ! |
