Today is my wedding anniversary -- nine years, thank you very much. We don't celebrate in any big way -- usually just a nice meal and good company, no presents or party. So I stumble out of bed, make my way to the kitchen for a nice cup of tea and this is what greets me:

For making sure the garbage is taken out each night, and the toilet seat is always in the down position, I'm thankful for you.

For making sure there's always gas in the car, and a bottle of water for me to drink, I'm thankful for you.

For making sure there's always my favorite treat in the cupboard, and my favorite wine to drink, I'm thankful for you.

For letting me experience the lives of your wonderful children, and giving my son the only father figure he's known, I'm thankful for you.

For falling for me because I'm an independent, opinionated, "big-boned", loud person, and then never once trying to change me, I'm thankful for you.
