Removing the Curse from Tacoma

now is the time

Tacoma makes the national news far too often.  I've been in this town for nearly 30 years and I can not believe how many times Tacoma is the leading story on the national news.  Like Jen Graves I believe the city is cursed.  I know what lead to the curse, it was the renaming of Mt. Tahoma to Mt. Rainier.  We need to get the name changed back and pronto.  We can not wait, this is not the time for debate.  Change the name back to Mt. Tahoma and the curse will be lifted.

the curse is about as real as the Bermuda Triangle.

D.B. Cooper Lives!

DB Cooper DOES live... just outside of Vancouver. I hear he has a great view of the Columbia.

But hey, if this Salish Sea thing goes through, we've got precedent. Besides, if the tallest, most massive mountain in North America can be renamed from honoring an assassinated US President to the traditional Tribal name, I don't see why we can't do the same for a mountain named for a rear admiral.

Rear admirals... harrumph!

What have rear admirals done for US lately?

I filed a preliminary name change application a couple years ago but had to put it on the back burner due to kids, work, life, etc. Also, I couldn't find anyone that would actually WORK on it. As in put in real effort and real time - some of it not online and in Olympia. I would gladly assist if someone wants to help!

Contrary to Jen Graves article, the frigging shootings did not happen in Tacoma. Now were Tacoma police involved.

Grave's regurgitation of the Seattle Chamber of Commerce mantra is pathetic:

BTW, police believe the suspect is in Seattle right now.

BTW, Police in SEATTLE shot the COP KILLER in a SEATTLE neighborhood, not terribly far from where that COP WAS KILLED LAST MONTH in SEATTLE.

Amocat...can only feel scalded when he thinks he is scalded when in fact he is not scalded...but it just seems so real...because he is a small cat and has large vision and assumes that everything is looking at him. Even when they are not and the same scaldings happen in Seattle and everywhere else in America. Amocat is only looking at himself.
