This Thursday, for the first time in the history of the universe, The Melon's Electric Elliot and friends will be live-blogging the Vice-Presidential debate. Who's winning? Who's losing? Can one really win a lose a debate with this magnitude of pandering? One thing is for sure, with Electric Elliot at the helm (yes, I'm speaking in 3rd person) everyone will be burned.
Join me at 6pm PST and for an hour and a half of pure verbal murder on these Veep hopefuls. Who came up with Veep anyway? Isn't VP abbreviated enough? F*cking media idiots!

|I hate to say it ,she was amazing. She likes to be like Cheney though, and that is scary.
Was she remote controlled and I missed that? Are we living the future and I don’t know it??

|Palin definitely did way better than I was expecting. That being said, she didn't address the specifics of policies or the issues as directly as Biden did.
Her main attempts were to connect with the "average voter" by pandering with forced country-talk. Her maverick claims started to wear thin after the 6th or 7th time.
Biden, I'd say was way stronger overall. He probably got a bit too detailed for the average voter, but better that than some of Palen's empty "we're the real change" statements.
Yes, Palen was amazing, but in comparison to what? The Couric interview? If so, I totally agree.
You can disagree with policy here, but to me Palin didn't touch Biden on display of experience and knowledge.
Just my opinion.

|Palin was only amazing because the expectations were so low. I was disappointed that neither one is willing to support gay marriage and I am sick of hearing about her energy policy experience. I don't think the debate will help the campaign.|
