Antique Dental Horror Display: Freighthouse Square

Check out the great horror display at Freighthouse Square in the basement.

It almost looks like an alien autopsy display.

Full size View

I had to shoot directly in the sun so the pictures turned out blurry.

The antique dental and surgical equipment is scary in itself. An exhibit worth seeing.  You may want to leave the kiddies upstairs though.

yucky!

No like?

Thought you would appreciate the antiques. Most of the dental and medical equipment looks to be from the 1920s to 1940s.

On the far wall between the windows is a panel of oscilloscopes.

Awesome! Is this meant to be an exhibit seen by all or what exactly is the context here?

I really have no idea. There is a gate in the front of the exhibit but the whole area is easily visible from the front. I think they probably don't want anyone to touch it.

I can see why as some of the electronics which look to be functioning do not look like they are child friendly nor is a lot of the other items in the display.

The basement only has one business in it now as the antique shop left. Thus, it pretty surprising to run across this display in the empty nearly lifeless basement. A gem.
