Hipster 253 T Shirt Wearer of The Day
Here, RR Anderson collects his prize for prevailing in Frost Park Chalk Off Episode XX: the last known Daniel Blue 253 T shirt sold in the City of Tacoma.
A Tacoma cultural antiquity.
In his right hand, he holds the authentic receipt verifying the authenticity of the shirt.
For RR Anderson, the 253 shirt will no doubt serve as raw creative fuel at HFW.
Only one problem: it's a size small.

Congrats on your cultural prize RR!
by dawntown on 8/27/2008 @ 2:29pm | Ill take it!
You know, it may even shrink further in the dryer, and I doubt little Max will be wearing it anytime soon. |
by Erik on 8/27/2008 @ 2:36pm | You know, it may even shrink further in the dryer, and I doubt little Max will be wearing it anytime soon. Yeah, its suitable for framing for cultural historians. I think RR may know someone else in his household who could possibly Don the last 253 t in Tacoma. Hard to tell. Perhaps we will find out this Friday at Frost Park. |
by Rue on 8/27/2008 @ 2:50pm | Hold on to that shirt RR! It may be valuable some day.
Rumor has it Blue is leaving Tacoma for the city Up North. |
by Altered Chords on 8/27/2008 @ 3:30pm | The shirt is not a size to small, RR is a size to large.
Or perhaps does not know that the hipsters wear their shirts very tight. |
by izenmania on 8/27/2008 @ 3:43pm | Proof that RxR is, indeed, larger than life.
(assuming that life has been distilled into fairly small t-shirt form) |
by dawntown on 8/27/2008 @ 4:22pm | So I can start flooding the "hipster" clothing "stores" with 253 knock-offs?
$5,$5, get your Genyoowine 253 shirt, $5 |
by NineInchNachos on 8/27/2008 @ 8:25pm | now i am the master of the universe![]() ![]() |
by Erik on 8/27/2008 @ 8:52pm | My god. What did I help create??!!!1! The internet powers of RR Anderson combined with the hipster "street cred" of Daniel Blue! The ultimate Tacoman. |
by KevinFreitas on 8/27/2008 @ 10:50pm | @the master of the universe: get thee some tight pants to combine with that tee for some seriously hip style! ;) |
by izenmania on 8/27/2008 @ 11:07pm | YES. RxR requires GIRL PANTS. |
by Erik on 8/27/2008 @ 11:26pm | This is like hearing that Daniel Blue commandeered Holistic Forge Works. A radical shift in the balance of power in the Tacoma artistic world. ![]() The "Blue" flag captured? Original photo source: www.flickr.com/photos/tacoma-inventor/28... by Adam the Alien on 8/28/2008 @ 8:34pm | So...can someone explain to the local alien transplant what the numbers 253 signify? |
by NineInchNachos on 8/28/2008 @ 8:47pm | it's related to the telecommunications industry in which Daniel Blue is a pawn |
by Adam the Alien on 8/28/2008 @ 10:59pm | ...Okay, wow. Considering how often I instinctively dial those numbers, one would think I'd have realized the connection between the shirt and the telecommunications industry. But no, it just whooshed over my head. |
