Huckabee Camp : Pierce County Has Voting Irregularities

Just when Tacoma and Pierce County thought they were out of the limelight, the Huckabee campaign believes they were slighted in the republican caucuses on Saturday.

From the Seattle Times:

Pastor Joseph Fuiten of Bothell, who's heading Huckabee's volunteer effort in the state, said three Huckabee supporters in Pierce County reported voting irregularities on Saturday.

Fuiten said one woman reported that she and a Ron Paul supporter were told that they wouldn't be allowed to run for alternative delegate positions — and that no actual vote was taken at the caucus. Instead, Fuiten said the woman reported that the caucus leaders simply tallied up the sign-in sheets to get the results.

In fact, Huckabee may bring legal action on the alleged irregulaties:

TUKWILA -- Republican Mike Huckabee prepared Sunday for legal and political challenges to John McCain's apparent victory in Washington's presidential caucuses.

...

Rollins said Huckabee's lawyers "are prepared to go to court, and we are also prepared to take our case all the way to the Republican National Convention in September."...

In an interview, Davis said she "absolutely" thought McCain supporters rigged voting in her precinct because she and a Ron Paul supporter were denied a chance to run to be delegates.

Commentary

The good news is that Huckabee cannot blame the Pierce County Auditor.  His complaint hinges on the actions of the republicans running the caucus.

Did Huckabee really win Washington State?  It would not be too surprising as Pat Robertsons won the state of Washington once in the republican primary as well as Ellen Craswell for governor.

Here is a Huckabee and Chuck Norris Campaign Ad.  I am going to guess did not run in Washington State:
