Old City Hall Developments and Link to Hauntings

The Winthrop Hotel, Elks Temple and Old City Hall are all waiting to be renovated.  Yet, the Old City Hall seems to be the one with the most action lately.

Yes, they still have some of the old tenants in the building.

Here, the third floor is being renovated.  All of the mezzanines have been ripped out and they are awaiting a new tenant to take the entire floor.

Here's a picture taken inside on 10/25/2007:

In November, I saw all of the demolition work pretty well completed.

Now, they are apparently moving onto the next stages of renovation and are removing dozens of internal doors.  Check out the pickup truck:

Someone told me last week that the building was back on the market at a substantially higher price.

When the building is restored we are going to have to get the clock in the clock tower working again.  No city can claim to be back on its feet with its city  clocktower showing the wrong time at every direction.

Plus, Kevin is going to need another project after the Tacoma Narrows Bridge is illuminated.

More info : Ghosts and Hauntings at Old City Hall:

Security guards here have reported elevators moving on their own accord, lights being turned off and on, and doors that were locked being checked and found unlocked.
