I snapped this picture today of Prium's Sales office which is now officially available. It was to be the showcase for Chelsea Heights and has a model in the store. It has been unoccupied for months. They will not the space if Chelsea is going to be apartments. Plus, Chelsea is nearly developed enough now that the sales office can go into the building itself.
This is a central location right adjacent to Matador, Suite 133, Capers, Urban Tanning Salon and Boe Architecture. The only vacant spot on the block. Do you know anyone who wants to start a business downtown in the middle of the action?
Speaking of Prium, Hanna Heights appear to be leasing out at a good clip given the minimal advertising so far.

The saga continues: 2 of Prium's projects just filed bankruptcy - Chelsea in Tacoma and one down south in Tumwater. Things don't look so hot for a Winthrop Hotel come back anytime soon.

Wow Morgan! You bumper a 2 and a half year old thread.
Prium did add a bit of life to the city with Hanna Heights which is pretty much full.
Chelsea Heights is now partially leased:
Yet, the Winthrop continues to struggle as an open blighted crime ridden sore in downtown Tacoma.

At least they recently covered up the orange Tyvek on the west end of the Chelsea building after 2+ years of leaving it unfinished. And from a quick bike ride by, it looks like somebody may be using the main floor of the building as well.
A ongoing conversation to make Tacoma a better to live and work through better urban design.
