Cobra Snake For A Necktie
Bo Diddley died this morning. How important was Bo Diddley? None of what we consider pop music, be it rap, rock, punk or metal would even exist today were it not for the "Bo Diddley beat". His most famous songs, "Hey Bo Diddley" and "Who Do You Love" included, are all about one thing: how goddamn cool it is to be Bo Diddley. Listen close, and you realize he's right.
Two versions of "Who Do You Love":
First, the original Checker single.
