May. 1, 2008 at 7:21pmTacoma Rainiers here and also pitch in at Bleeding Blue and Teal. I also have a oft-ignored political blog called Electoral College Dropouts. It should be Blogging Dropouts since neither I nor my blogpartner has written anything in weeks. Plus I started out at this blog, then moved on to this one. Add my newly started twitter account and that would be six blogs in the span of about four years.
I really need to find a new hobby.

Welcome to the Feed Tacoma world Frinklin.

And hopefully this year I won't give you a Rainers getting creamed tale to blog about. The test: May 16. Same circumstances, same family members ... hmmm ... perhaps we'll have to go with the same pals just to make sure it wasn't me ...

|Please tell me they're either playing a sucky team they're sure to beat, or a kick-ass one that they're destined to lose to no matter whether I go or not ...
(And remember, there was a worse-ass-whoopin' that day or month, I seem to recall ... but it still weren't pretty.)

First and foremost... tell ensie that I love her new avatar. Second, did you enjoy j.j.putz' effort tonight? Painful to watch. I can't throw more than about 60mph (that's my heater) but I can throw strikes. Put me in coach!

AP: Not sure what to think of your new avatar ... I know you have hair. ... unless you shaved it since Sunday?

This blog is so NOT unnecessary. Every other day Frinklin is like, "I SO need to blog about this, but I don't have anyplace to put it because I have a sports blog. Wah wah wah." Now he cannot complain.
Chickadee - You have to get AP to tell you the story of his new avatar. Creepy.
by tacomachickadee on 5/1/2008 @ 9:31pm
So AP: If random chickadee asks you questions about your avatar at tomorrow's Frost Park Friday, that's me.

Okay, in order:
@Erik: Thanks, K-Frei has been bugging me for about a year.
@Chick: Unfortunately, with the promotion of Wlad and Clement, the odds of a Rainier blowout is much higher than it was just a couple days ago. Loosing Tacoma's two best hitters hurts real bad. The best advice? Go when Dickey or Feierabend are pitching.
@AP: I'm wondering if Putz is still hurting, because that was awful. Makes you wish they still had George Sherrill in the pen. Also, memo to McLauren - RRS is your best lefty! Use him!
@Ensie: I can ALWAYS complain.

random chickadee, i know who you are. you were separated from us on Sunday morning with jcb, right?
by tacomachickadee on 5/1/2008 @ 9:50pm
|AP: You got me! Though I didn't spy you until I stopped by a bit after leaving since the middle child REALLY! NEEDED! TO! USE! THE! BATHROOM! before we took off to pick up daddy at the airport. Really, I should have checked with them before we headed down to check out the trains and romp the Ruston Way beaches ... I'll learn. You'd think I would have learned by now, of course ...
Frinklin: $A%&*()*)!! Well, this time we won't catch the grand slam ball from the other team ... (we didn't know it at the time, swear! We were on the other side of the wall!) YOU try and take a baseball from a 4-year-old boy.
by tacomachickadee on 5/1/2008 @ 9:50pm
At least I think it was you ...
by Frinklin on 5/1/2008 @ 9:54pm
That reminds me, are we moving Sunday mornings to a more kid-friendly locale?
by AP on 5/1/2008 @ 10:07pm
I know.. can't take me anywhere!
by tacomachickadee on 5/1/2008 @ 10:31pm
AP: At least you admit it.
by tacomachickadee on 5/1/2008 @ 10:33pm
|And Frinklin: Do share. The TC crew has brunch plans this S-day, but would love to join in at a later date ... (or, if another crew wants 11 a.m. brunch/breakfast, we might just start a Shift No. 2 and be able to go more often ... how about it? Shift 2 at 11 a.m. at PSP? or is it crowded then?)
All you early-risers ... sheesh. ;)
by tacomachickadee on 5/1/2008 @ 10:34pm
Ooh ... or how's the Herban cafe brunch, too? Crowded? Room for bumpkins? Ok ... I'm going to bed ... or at least so I say ...
by AP on 5/1/2008 @ 11:09pm
Both alternative locations were discussed on Sunday. The real question is not about crowds, times, or overall brunch quality. All that matters: what kind of BACON does the Herban Cafe throw down? To be mentioned alongside The Spar and PSP, you better bring wicked bacon.
