6th Ave Farmers Market Today
Hey everyone! I'm running late, but want to let you know some details about today's market!
Prana Farms will be joining us for the first time. They are located in Orting and will be bringing a nice variety of heirloom, organic, and open pollinated produce. Don't know what that means? Check out their web-site, or better yet, stop by and talk to them at the market! They'd love to explain!
Angi, the henna artist, will be joining us for the rest of the season. And today, the North Orchard DeLong Preschool Co-op will be bringing bubbles and other activities for kids.
We have a chef demo at 5:30 - Chef Vaughn of Herban Cafe will be demonstrating his secret Waldorf Salad recipe.
Immediately after the chef demo, at about 5:40, Kim Archer will be playing an acoustic set. Kim plays and sings amazing soul and groove jam music. You don't want to miss her! I heard her at Masa in July and was really impressed.
