Remodeling Progresses
So, I have been in and out of the house multiple times today and was discouraged to not see either our general contractor or the electrician. I last saw a construction worker on Friday. But then, I came home around 4:30 and found that some work had been done.
Another portion of drywall has been removed and all of its electrical. This left some fairly large holes to the outside, so I covered them with painters tape, which we all know has amazing insulating factors.

Then I remembered that we have a few other holes, to the outside already. Nothing like heating the great outdoors. The expected low tonight is 45 degrees. This whole project should have been done by now. Anyhow, I noticed that some of the other outlets had been disconnected, but not all. Hopefully there is a method to this madness and progress will increase rapidly.
About
Hello! I'm Heather and I'm a bit manic about Tacoma.
I'll probably be blogging about my experiences in Tacoma as they relate to the environment (natural and built), social (in)justice, community building, economic development, bio-diesel, public transit, biking, gardening, home improvement, food & wine, and my little family (me, my husband, one dog, one cat). This is my first attempt at writing a blog - so please bear with me.
