Sunshine on My Garden #2
My garden is growing! Thanks to the recent sunshine! I think that some of the lettuce and spinach is ready to be consumed. Still no peas though...

It looks like it is going to be a good year for apples and plums, too! After the "June drop," I'll be thinning the fruit. It will be time consuming but hopefully the work will result in bigger, healthier apples and juicier plums!

The little green plums are kind of difficult to see, but there are lots of them!
About
Hello! I'm Heather and I'm a bit manic about Tacoma.
I'll probably be blogging about my experiences in Tacoma as they relate to the environment (natural and built), social (in)justice, community building, economic development, bio-diesel, public transit, biking, gardening, home improvement, food & wine, and my little family (me, my husband, one dog, one cat). This is my first attempt at writing a blog - so please bear with me.
