Demolition Beginning in Prep for New Goodwill

Work on the new Goodwill Work Opportunity Center I mentioned late last year looks to be starting soon. But first, demolition. [insert manly grunts here] Fences have gone up around the former building supply outlet and auto detail buildings off the corner of Center St. and Tacoma Ave. This drab couple blocks could surely use the activity that the Rushforth and BCRA construction project will bring along with the obvious benefits of having a bustling new Goodwill facility once all is said and done sometime in 2009.

Great "before" pictures. Little more than warehouses.

Lots of big projects starting in the south Downtown area.

MRED has put fencing up around thier planned mixed-use project up the street and permits have been issued to Rushforth for the rehab of the Pacific Brewery building for Rainier Connect.

Although I have another home on the web I thought it might be nice to lead by example a bit and put this blog system up to the test myself.

So far, so good... Funny how I build web tools for other people that are far better than the one's I have setup over on KFnet.
