Dome District Building Demolished

After a fire gutted the Hurley Engineering building earlier this year it appears it's now be demolished. Here's the corner of 26th and E "C" Street before (via Google Street View):

And after:

Anyone know what's going to happen with this space moving forward?

Make way for the way of the train

No train-related effects here but crews are staging just across the street from here and the lots near 705 are now closed. The Dome District is hopping with all this plus the rapid LeMay Museum construction and Foremost renovation. Exciting times!

Hmm, pretty sure something must be planned. It costs money to demolish, and we all know how worthless the city is about pursuing neglected properties. Not much incentive to demolish it without plans for something else.

Time will tell I suppose....

Although I have another home on the web I thought it might be nice to lead by example a bit and put this blog system up to the test myself.

So far, so good... Funny how I build web tools for other people that are far better than the one's I have setup over on KFnet.
