I noticed yesterday that the building at corner of East "C" and S. 26th showed signs of fire damage (pictured above). Looked like some of Hurley Engineering was in operation but my concern comes from another fire in the Teamsters hall a mere four blocks away.
I'm hoping this is a freak coincidence for the neighborhood and nothing serial and/or arson. Certainly might be a good covert way to make room for the Sounder extension! ;)

|I smell a rat... and not just the one in that heap of trash.
Could it be that the serial arsonist got out of the Winthrop alive?

|In all seriousness, this is really disappointing to see. Please at least tell me Friesenburgers was spared?|

|Yeah, it looked like it was a small fire so I don't think it effected much else. Just hoping this isn't something we'll see more of in our office neighborhood with a couple other empty buildings (e.g. McCabe's and that former BNSF office) around. Neighborhood watch, yo!|

|That photo above could easily have come from the 70's or 80's. I could swear that was a Cysewski.|

|Sounds like a plan Anderson would scheme up... burn down the "undesirable" buildings, blame a fictional arsonist and put in parking lots where the charred buildings used to stand.

|While the RR Anderson is certainly a powerful enough Mastermind to think this up an execute it, I refer to the one who runs the City.|
Although I have another home on the web I thought it might be nice to lead by example a bit and put this blog system up to the test myself.
So far, so good... Funny how I build web tools for other people that are far better than the one's I have setup over on KFnet.
