Get Rid of Your Tree (Sans Fire)
Getting rid of a holiday tree here in Tacoma is pretty easy with our local recycling program. You can toss it in your yard debris bin throughout most of January (though if it fits I don't see why you couldn't do so anytime). If it doesn't fit you can chop it into 3' lengths and leave it on the curb during yard debris pick-up weeks. They don't take flocked trees (which I can believe anyone would pay for in the first place) and be sure to remove all the decorations.
Best get rid of it now else it might succumb to a wayward candle or hot bulb and might go up like this guy demonstrates in his Tacoma driveway.
About
Although I have another home on the web I thought it might be nice to lead by example a bit and put this blog system up to the test myself.
So far, so good... Funny how I build web tools for other people that are far better than the one's I have setup over on KFnet.
