Herban Cafe Seeks Chef to Invest

3D animated rats need not apply

Had a chat at today's chalk off with Gretchen (a.k.a. Pink Cookie Lady) of Herban Cafe. She mentioned they're restaurant service will be on hiatus starting Monday. Catering is still on (and always tasty, from my experience) but they're looking for a chef that wants to invest. Here's their post from Craig's List:

Looking for a chef/kitchen manager who has always wanted to own... invest in turn key cafe & start immediately... salary negotiable. Cafe is complete with licenses, catering endorsement... eventual full ownership... great opportunity for up and coming chef... please respond and we will reply promptly.

Here's to them finding a great match in a chef and opening back up soon!

Sad. But there is always a chance for a new beginning.

We are excited! We found a kitchen employee stealing from us and realized we need ownership in the kitchen. Chef's are way under rated!
Anyone out there interested???

I'd like to, but I am afraid my short stature is prohibitive within the confines of your human kitchens.

But I would be more than happy to make up some of my great grandmother's lutefisk for your establishment.

This is going to be nice.
Herban plus breakfast plus nice prices = a combo that can't be beat. If we can't support a great restaurant that also listens to the customers and the market, something's wrong with us. Extra points for being so kid-friendly - it really is.

Sounds good.

Although I have another home on the web I thought it might be nice to lead by example a bit and put this blog system up to the test myself.

So far, so good... Funny how I build web tools for other people that are far better than the one's I have setup over on KFnet.
