This shows some real audacity on Clear Channel's part. A completely tattered billboard face right across the street from Tacoma's City Hall building. It's like a neighbor from down the block bringing their dog to take a crap on your lawn without picking it up. It does go to show you how Clear Channel really can't keep profitable ads on their property these days.
It also makes it more dangerous because non-profits are benefiting from all this vacancy through the kind, benevolent, charity of Clear Channel. I pitty them and recommend they get the word out through other means because this "charity" represents a Trojan horse to encourage these non-profits to help lobby for Clear Channel at the local but now at the state level.
Your state legislature is now considering Clear Channel's request to allow digital billboards on state highways throughout Washington. Do you want a company who "values" their properly like the above to have huge flashing TVs along our beautiful highways on the way to Mt. Rainier? The coast? I sure don't. Write your representative now and tell them to say NO to Clear Channel!

|Mayor Strickland has asked every business in town to do something "Extra" and Clear Channel is responding by making sure their installations are extra ugly.|

Although I have another home on the web I thought it might be nice to lead by example a bit and put this blog system up to the test myself.
So far, so good... Funny how I build web tools for other people that are far better than the one's I have setup over on KFnet.
