Cats and dogs
My weather station here at the house received 3" of rain yesterday and likely another nearly half inch so far today with more on the way. The above map is just a couple trouble spots I've run into in the last day around town but I know there's more. Drop a comment below to let everyone know what you see out there on your way to work, in your neighborhood, etc. and I'll also get them added to the map above.
Drive safe out there!

|Good posting Kevin. When you refer to "trouble spots" I assume you're writing about standing water in the roadway. I saw a lot of this in the north end yesterday and if rain continues for the next few days it will probably get worse.
This brings up a new issue. Why don't people who have trees planted along the street in front of their homes do a better job cleaning up the leaves? These leaves accumulate in the storm drains, causing backups which threaten to cause property damage and make commuting difficult for drivers and bicyclists.
I hate to say it, but cleaning up these sloppy leaves on a daily basis is sort of social obligation which lovers of arborial street canopies owe to their neighbors.

|Yeah, I'm referring to standing water. Schuster Parkway is mostly clear this morning but the puddle on Dock St. under 705 is massive and I wouldn't recommend taking a vehicle through it.
The latest squall of precip is missing us now but if it picks back up keep your eyes out and drive careful.
Although I have another home on the web I thought it might be nice to lead by example a bit and put this blog system up to the test myself.
So far, so good... Funny how I build web tools for other people that are far better than the one's I have setup over on KFnet.
