McCabe's For Sale

Whether open or shut or riddled with bullets it's hard to deny that McCabe's is a well known local night life icon. Well, now you can own that icon (and it's generous parking lot) 'cause the property has been foreclosed and is now up for sale. A mere $1.2 million will make this baby yours for the cleaning and likely bulldozing. Hey, whatever stops the transient camping and creepy windowless van parking!

I thought it would make a spiffy SiteCrafting HQ but wouldn't have any use for the industrial kitchen and the mechanical bull just wouldn't quite count as an ergonomic chair for my workspace. ;) What would you do with that space?

I'd raze it and use the location to build the 135 story world-headquarters of THORAX Heavy Industries (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Matshuhaurah Fishworks, LTD).

I'd like it to become the old Salmon House again. Many fond memories for me at the old Salmon House.

Hey when is Sitecrafting moving into the fancy digs by Old City Hall?

by Crenshaw Sepulveda on 4/18/2010 @ 12:04am
I don't know if Sitecrafting bought the building or not but I can tell you Rushforth put in a bid to do some significant work on it. I haven't seen any documentation indicating the building has changed hands yet.

@Erik: Not happening unfortunately. Didn't turn out to be the perfect match we were originally hoping. Still looking though so if you know of anything feel free to keep me posted as I'm heading up the efforts.

The Fight Club building may still be available.

Kevin, are there parameters besides square footage and bandwidth availability that we should be aware of?

Although I have another home on the web I thought it might be nice to lead by example a bit and put this blog system up to the test myself.

So far, so good... Funny how I build web tools for other people that are far better than the one's I have setup over on KFnet.
