My First Night Itinerary

Never mind the signage confusion

I suppose "Last Night" is a little depressing and foreboding but I don't think cute works when describing a) why it's called First Night and b) why it's like a car with the model year seemingly one ahead.

Nevertheless, I'm looking forward to being out there tonight with my lovely wife. We just got our shiny First Night buttons last night at King's Books and I'll be charging up my flash batteries today (events that take place in the dark = flash). Since there's so much going on I figure I'd pour through the schedule and figure out what I'd like to see.

Oh Voices - Other/Piano/Pop, 6-6:45pm, Theatre on the Square
Over The Water Hurdy Gurdy Association, 7:30-8:15pm, Pythian Temple
The Rumba Kings, 8:30-9:15pm, Main Stage
The Little Brothers, 9:30-10:15pm, Upstairs @ Sanford & Son
Zazou, 10:30-11:30pm, Rialto Theatre

I was pretty torn for that 7:30-8:15pm slot since I also wanted to see these:

The Smilin' Scandinavians – Infectious Polka Fun, 7:30-8:15pm, Main Stage
One World Taiko, 7:30-8:15pm, Pantages Theatre

However, the sweet Siren song of the hurdy gurdy calls. Hope to see you out there tonight. Whatever the case, Happy New Year!
