The "Red Beeron" perhaps?
I'll admit that after reading this from The Red Hot's Chris we immediately went straight over from breakfast this morning. My drink of choice lately is the bloody mary. Savory with all kinds of tasty treats like olives, celery, or asparagus and spicy with Tabasco, pepper or other stuff -- bloody mary's always seem to hit the spot. As we sat at the Harvester, three came out at tables just across from us. I opined for one myself but thought better of it. Until Sarah handed me her iPhone with the aforementioned blog post on it.
Megan and Jen were on hand at the bar to serve up the mid-day treat. First a glass 3/4 full of Rainier Beer. From there, a small can of tomato juice. I think a couple shakes of cucumber salt followed, a pepperoncini was floated on top, and a stick of Oberto beef jerky slid in in place of celery. Voila! A Red Hot red beer. It was pretty great and to it I'd add only more spicy and salty flavor. Good stuff though that I hope they choose to serve more than just on Saturdays.
The name could use some work. With dogs names on the menu like the Hilltop Strangler and the North End Not Dog I'm pretty sure we can do better for this new liquid concoction. So waddaya say? Name that drink contest? Toss your entries below and maybe we'll round up to promising ones and start a poll.

I am in negotiations with a restaurant to give my favorite martini a home.
Although I have another home on the web I thought it might be nice to lead by example a bit and put this blog system up to the test myself.
So far, so good... Funny how I build web tools for other people that are far better than the one's I have setup over on KFnet.
