Photo ~ Line for Tall Ships Tickets
Bonus: Weekend planner
Tomorrow's the day the large masted beauties roll into our humble municipality. That's right, Tall Ships and Freedom Fair craziness time everybody. Just look at the line of folks getting tickets around noon today at Freighthouse:

My question to y'all is this: Are you buying tickets? I remember from 2005 really enjoying myself without having to wait in huge lines to board the ships. There was so much joy in just seeing, experiencing the bustle, and knowing that Tacoma was a real star through it all.
Bonus! Weekend Planner
Here's my plan for this weekend around town.
Thurs
- 10am - Watch/photograph the parade of ships
- 7pm - Chalk in Tollefson Plaza
Friday
- Noon -- Frost Park chalk off
- Afternoon -- Stroll Ruston Way and catch the air show
- Early evening -- Wienerfest at The Red Hot, help a friend with computer stuff
- Evening -- Watch the fireworks from the grassy area at N. Mason and 38th
- 10am -- Take in the Tall Ships along Dock Street
- Noon -- Escape the crowds and head to Dash Point State Park for some super low tide skimboarding action
About
Although I have another home on the web I thought it might be nice to lead by example a bit and put this blog system up to the test myself.
So far, so good... Funny how I build web tools for other people that are far better than the one's I have setup over on KFnet.
