Semi Overturned in Dome District

A truck and trailer carrying a load of lumber sits on it's side in the Dome District this morning. The overturned semi sits just perpendicular to the exit onto 26th St. from I-5. No emergency vehicles save for some police re-directing traffic so hopefully no one was hurt. Not sure how it happened since the wreck is a bit too far off course and tipped the wrong way to have come from the freeway. Near as I can tell he may have tipped cutting the corner from "C" Street too tight or simply popped up onto the curb and was too top heavy to stay righted. The nearby palm tree sculptures and pots they sit within appear undisturbed.

Traffic is open from the freeway exit and on 26th heading east but the west bound lanes are closed completely while they try to right and remove the truck.

I feel for the truck driver 'cause, man, that's a bad morning.

Thanks Brian!

That's nuts! That's a tough one to figure out . . . I wonder how it happened.

Although I have another home on the web I thought it might be nice to lead by example a bit and put this blog system up to the test myself.

So far, so good... Funny how I build web tools for other people that are far better than the one's I have setup over on KFnet.
