Well, kinda'. There's now a large I-beam spanning to supports which just the start of the Sounder D-M Street extension bridge over Pacific Ave. does begin to make. Check it out!

Looks like the big piece that's going to actually span Pacific may be next judging by the size/thickness of that thing:

The Pacific Ave. detour is in place 'til May and the entire project is slated to be complete next fall. Here's the project page on Sound Transit's website:
Can't wait for those bridge pieces above to get the blue paint job shown in those finished project renderings.

Wow! Good find on that video/time-lapse!
@Joel413 - Agreed. I hope ST will allow sanctioned art to be painted on before graffiti and (even worse) tagging have a chance to become a problem.

|I think that will be a great gateway into downtown actually.

I like the sanctioned art idea Kevin. I specifically suggest that the city place some of my most provocative written word art blog posts in the largest font available on every surface possible. It would be a great tribute to feedtacoma as well. It would give the transit commuters something to think and talk about every day.
Although I have another home on the web I thought it might be nice to lead by example a bit and put this blog system up to the test myself.
So far, so good... Funny how I build web tools for other people that are far better than the one's I have setup over on KFnet.
