Sounder Construction Update - Signs of Road

According to the latest update the D-M Street Sounder rail work has reached a couple milestones. First the major excavation to lower the grade of Pacific (to go under the future train bridge) is complete. Also, as you can see above, cement and forms are in place to start laying down Pacific's new road bed.

In addition to the very beginnings of the berm starting to show in the Dome District on the other side of 705 you can also see the west most support for the rail bridge over Pacific now sprouting up:

Train passengers will have a great view of that billboard. Sources with Clear Channel Outdoor of Seattle were quoted as saying, simply, "CHA-CHING!"

Haha, I'll put in a good word. ;)

Although I have another home on the web I thought it might be nice to lead by example a bit and put this blog system up to the test myself.

So far, so good... Funny how I build web tools for other people that are far better than the one's I have setup over on KFnet.
