Sounds of the Izenman Men

Out of Sight, Out of Mind @ Rhapsody in Bloom

After grabbing a dog and drink with Izenmania and Frinklin at The Red Hot I had the pleasure of hearing Out of Sight, Out of Mind over at Rhapsody in Bloom. The mostly Izenman group tonight included a base playing goof named Goodwin and featured some songs written and performed by Sue. Rhapsody made a charming space for this kind of intimate music and it made for a relaxing evening away from the bustle of my week. Great to see Steph DeRosa and her hubby there too.

Here are a couple songs from last night:

And some photos:

I had to go back and listen to the first one again. I could have sworn he said "You can't tell a leper to change his spots".

Obviously, I need more coffee.

Beautiful music, gentlemen. Sorry I wasn't there.

We will work on Goodwin's enunciation. The coffee, and your hearing, are your own responsibility.

I mean, who's ever heard of a Leperskin Pillbox Hat?

Nice job, Kevin. Thanks.

Although I have another home on the web I thought it might be nice to lead by example a bit and put this blog system up to the test myself.

So far, so good... Funny how I build web tools for other people that are far better than the one's I have setup over on KFnet.
