Tacoma Tip #5 - Snowy Escape

On snowy days, join your neighbors for a sled outing in Wright Park.

When Mother Nature graces our area with a rare winter snow there are few things better than seeing the equally rare scene of the city joyfully coming out together to one place. And Wright Park is that place. It's gentle, grass-covered hills make for the perfect spot for a family and/or friends to enjoy the thrill of gravity plus board on snow.

So, on a day like today, be careful out there but be joyous and witness one of our most lovely parks in full bloom with happy people.

Tacoma Tip is a weekly series for sharing the little tidbits that make living life here, for old timer's and newcomers alike, a little smoother. Have any tips you want shared? Email me!

We have photos like that from 1988...

Although I have another home on the web I thought it might be nice to lead by example a bit and put this blog system up to the test myself.

So far, so good... Funny how I build web tools for other people that are far better than the one's I have setup over on KFnet.
