Time Lapse ~ Finally with the Snow

Just a dusting will do

I relish any time we actually get fallen snow in this area. There are always factors rooting against our having the white stuff. Being in a temperate zone. Barely above sea level. Sometimes in the rain shadow of the Olympics. Oh, and weather guys from Seattle that try to deny us. Well none of that worked this morning as there's a lovely, calming, dusting of white stuff outside our house. Sometimes our Winter season seems short but it's always nice to be reminded once in a while that it actually is there.

Did you get any? Do you think we'll get more Monday night?

on 1/28/2008 @ 7:37am		Looks like about an inch and a half, over here by UPS. We are stuck with a 2 hour delay, I hate the 2 hour delay. Just enough time to tease the children with all the fun they could be having in the snow, just too little time for me to actually get on with my day. Plus, I have the littlest home because there's no preschool, so I am to be reminded how UNFAIR that is, all morning long.

on 1/28/2008 @ 7:43am		Q13 just reported that "Tacoma is getting away with the perfect crime" this morning. (Meaning no accidents due to the snow.) I think they *are* against us. I think you may be right.

on 1/28/2008 @ 8:40am		I heard that too! Normally Adam Gehrke is with us but not this time. He made up for it by calling the intersection of I-5 and I-405 north of Seattle the "flux capacitor of death" on his animated traffic map. Just for that I'll let the Tacoma remark slide -- this time. :|

on 1/28/2008 @ 4:32pm		To avoid being verbally assaulted, I will take proactive action. The snow will keep me away from The Red Hot, bratwursts AND the gladiator scene tonight. Nobody brought this up, so I assume playing in the snow will be the priority of the masses?
