I can't believe you ate my cooking!
I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who came out for the SinSational Valentine's Day Party last night. I had a blast and I hope you did too.
I spent the first hour or so in the kitchen so I really didn't have an idea of the crowd until the food ran out. Holy crap! To think I was worried that no one would show up because it was a weeknight, or they'd rather spend a romantic Valentine's Day at home.
Thank you to all the performers who strutted their stuff for free (or close to it). I will never be able to listen to Prince again without thinking of Joel in his little spandex shorts and Indiana Jones jacket and hat.Our next Equilibrium party will probably be some time this summer at a bigger venue.
I welcome any suggestions on what we could do better next time (aside from making more chicken skewers-- those things take time, people!).

|So that means no leftovers, then?

|Not a one. Those people were ravenous, I tell you. Ravenous!
Or it might have been the crack I slipped into the marinade.
Tell you what, if we ever get an office BBQ and have a parking lot party, I'll make them again.

|I'm for it!
Anyway, I got paid in wine and food last night, so I didn't suffer tooooooo terribly.

|I must steal one of tacomachickadee's favorite words here, and say the event was filled to the brim with fabulocity. |
Kevin posted some pics of the event here (he left the unflattering pics of me out because I know where he lives)
The food, the entertainment, the crowd -- all awesome. I may be biased here, but I believe Ms. Mandiferous is pretty much the best event hostess ever. Oh, and I met her mom, too. And she rocks.

My mom is my own personal art groupie. She comes to every event, finds a corner, puts in her earplugs, and watches all the goings-on. She describes each event as "interesting" and then tries to get me to switch careers and become an event planner.
Gotta love her.

|oh the pretty pretty people......and the cooking was GOOOOOD. Mark really thanks you for leaving out the salmon and peanuts!!|

|Salmon and peanuts? Yuck. Is that what we served last time? I came to the last party straight from a wedding and arrived too late for any kind of food.|
I'm Mandi. I've lived in the Tacoma area my whole life and I love it. I'm not a very prolific blogger but I do what I can.
