I wish I could join in today but I'm heading down to see family. Chalk furiously and I'll look forward to upcoming episodes!

by NineInchNachos on 4/2/2010 @ 9:29am
still raining cats and dogs out there. this is going to suck.

by L.S.Erhardt on 4/2/2010 @ 11:38am
I'm going to lunch with family to celebrate my birthday. I likely won't make it this week, but I'll try.

by NineInchNachos on 4/2/2010 @ 12:54pm
windy as hell, but rain cleared up just enough for classic chalk action. Look for my TRUE GRIT SPIRIT CAPTURE PORTRAIT of MR. DAVID BOE on the sidewalk. will post photos later tonight. Great job from Stowe and Adam the Alien. Also a new Adam showed up too.

by Adam the Alien on 4/2/2010 @ 1:48pm
I vote for Stowe's melting egg.

Pictures from the Volcano are up: www.weeklyvolcano.com/bars-clubs/photo-h...

Hopefully some more folks post pictures ASAP. I don't even have time to embed the Volcano ones in my post right now.

Remember folks, to avoid confusion, use the word "vote" when you vote for your favorite piece!

by Mandiferous on 4/2/2010 @ 1:58pm
I vote for the 2nd Adam's "Are We Done Yet?"

My thoughts exactly!

by NineInchNachos on 4/2/2010 @ 2:15pm
man i hope my pics turn out better than those. Keep forgetting that Izenmania is now a volcano spy.

by izenmania on 4/2/2010 @ 2:24pm
Those pics aren't mine. I only write for them, not photograph.

by jamesstoweart on 4/2/2010 @ 2:36pm
MMMMMYYYYSSSSTTTTEEEERRRYYYYYYYY....

Also, I vote for RxR spiritual portrait of Lenin, err, Rasputin, err, Boe...

I do hope the talented Mister Boe pays the ransom in order to retrieve his soul before the chalk washes away.

by JustAdam on 4/2/2010 @ 2:37pm
I had a lot of fun will be back next week.

by JustAdam on 4/2/2010 @ 2:41pm
My vote goes to the egg as well.

by Joel 413 on 4/2/2010 @ 2:45pm
tough choices, I had the kids today, and ended up having to re-attach the tarp on my roof in that nasty wind!

But I'm going to VOTE FOR STOWE's melting egg, although it was a tough choice between that and JustAdam.

by Dave_L on 4/2/2010 @ 2:56pm
Happy Birthday, TOT. Not the best place to say it, but sorry to hear about your industry colleagues in Anacortes, man.

by Jesse on 4/2/2010 @ 2:57pm
You guys chalked today? THAT is committment!

by Mark Monlux on 4/2/2010 @ 3:08pm
I vote for RR Anderson's portrait of Mr. David Boe. Mainly because his head looks like a giant egg. But who cares why I voted the important thing is that I did vote! And it was for RR Anderson True Grit portrait. Yeah!

by izenmania on 4/2/2010 @ 3:15pm
I vote Stowe, with his carefully crafted illusion of rain-merged colors.

by Erik on 4/2/2010 @ 3:42pm
I vote for this one:

by debivans on 4/2/2010 @ 4:04pm
Egg gots my vote. Have a good Good Friday all!

by L.S.Erhardt on 4/2/2010 @ 4:20pm
@ Dave L: thanks for the birthday kudos, and please do keep the Tesoro Anacortes workers and their families in your prayers.

See y'alls next week

by NineInchNachos on 4/2/2010 @ 4:54pm

RR does David Boe:

David Boe, True Grit Spirit Portrait

by Courtney on 4/2/2010 @ 7:17pm
I am voting for Adam's because about this point of spring I start feeling exactly like that in regards to the weather.

Stowe's melty egg was awesome and wow RR's portrait reminds me of some kind of Pokemon villain.

by KevinFreitas on 4/2/2010 @ 7:56pm
I'm voting Stowe -- beautiful colors and great composition. Well done Adam and RR as well! See everyone next week.

by NineInchNachos on 4/2/2010 @ 8:00pm
poor adam's hat blew away like 3 times.

by AnagramPress on 4/2/2010 @ 9:03pm
I vote for RR's Spirit Capture™ Portrait, although I think it would have benefited from some bad poetry running behind the head.

by ALT on 4/2/2010 @ 9:07pm
I'm torn between Stowe's melting egg and RxR's rendition of Boe with an egg-like pate.

After a few more seconds of thought I'm voting for Stowe's cleverly melting egg. Pretty colors!

by Girl Who <3 JUNK on 4/2/2010 @ 9:25pm
I VOTE Stowe!

Love the colors!

Plus, today I colored some eggs with my daughter and her BF.

by Adam the Alien on 4/3/2010 @ 4:25am
