Frost Park's Greatest Hits

for those cold fall days... a little warmth in your heart

In the world of competitive sidewalk chalk illustration there are winners and there are losers.  Many many losers.  Yet the greatest number ever are counted in winners. What I mean is, any civilian who encounters one of our artists' works in the wild is instantly transformed into a winner.

Below is a retrospective of some of my favorite mind blowing experiences.

Dave L's technicolor Frost Park Lights Joe Izenman does Martin the Angry English Owl Made in Russia: Elle Stowe's World Record Chalk Experiment Urban Folk Art Crowd Shot Andrea + Adam the Alien Sarah Palin of Alaska in Tacoma Dawn's Underdog (awesome) Monlux Learn To Draw School RR's LeMay Americaz Auto Museum: Life's a Gas Unknown Artist + Lance Dave L's Fantastic Java Jive Lara Hanan Throws Down Electric Elliot's Technicolor Dream Future Father & Son Chalk Duo Ms. Darcy Enjoys the Melon 2 Professor Fry, Constructon Cranes
The end?

RR I can't believe the "I've got Boobs!" shot of Elle didn't make your list... not that there's anything wrong with that.

that's my buttttt.... with dawn's butttttt... damn, they're cute butttttts, (can I say that? even when mine's on the large-ish side, comparitively??) --

awwwwwwwwww, RR, and Eric, and et-cetera (hi, Kevin!) what a faboooo look back in time. Such a good year, good event, good energy. It must be bottled and either sold as perfume to rival Britt-Knee, or preserved for next spring. I vote the latter.

again, all I can say is, what a fabulous, fabulous thing this was... (and will be!!)

RR Anderson is one of the most curious characters in the UFO lore and the history of underground cartooning. He fought bizarre underground beings in the caves of Alaska, was wounded by a laser before it was invented, and had a background with the clandestine branch of the Tacoma Cartoonists Society.
