If it passes, there will be a number of city council members who could run for mayor who may not without it. The county has done little but build one ever more remote suburban subdivision after another and created an unsustainable spawlish train wreck in the county. All draining county resources and encouraging disinvestment in Tacoma. Thus, the winner for county executive is going to be pretty critical for Tacoma. Running the county certainly takes another "skillset" than running a city. Yet, Tim is greatly improving his urban skills lately having consulted with Kunstler and Boe. |
