reporters are calling him: "Night Fist"
RIPPED FROM THE KOMO-4 HEADLINES:

by droid116 on 7/16/2008 @ 2:47pm | Sorry police sketch artist. That is actually "Luke Cage, Power Man" also known as Hero for Hire.
You may have confused him with Iron Fist, who he worked with for a while. That would account for the "Night Fist" copy error. Unless of course we have a new hero on our hands. Dun dun DAAA!! |
by Jake on 7/16/2008 @ 2:54pm | "All too often the folks in the heart of downtown see robbers take the money and run."
Really? How often are businesses being robbed downtown? |
by zastica on 7/16/2008 @ 2:56pm | That is so awesome. |
by Erik on 7/16/2008 @ 3:06pm | "All too often the folks in the heart of downtown see robbers take the money and run." Yes. The obligatory self interested Seattle smear on Tacoma to start off the story. I have worked downtown for the last 14 years and never personally "see[n] robbers take the money and run" once. |
by ensie on 7/16/2008 @ 3:54pm | Wow. When I heard "crime fighter", I thought it was just going to be KING 5's Jesse "Get Jesse!" Jones, but it honestly looks like a real hero in our midst. Kick ass. I'll have to ask him if that chain belt is uncomfortable. |
by Rue on 7/16/2008 @ 9:03pm | I say we fight fire with fire! Let's get our local TV station to do stories on Seattle crime! Oh wait, a Seattle company bought our only commercial TV station years ago. Ok, let's get our radio stations to do stories on Seattle crime! Wait, none of our stations are powerful enough to reach Seattle. Crap, so much for fighting fire with fire. How about we just go up there and kick Seattle's ass. |
by NineInchNachos on 7/20/2008 @ 2:01pm | yeah I've seen him hanging around 9th & commerce... usually doing pumping exercises on the theater district link station. I always wondered about him. Now we know the secret: He's a champion of street justice. |
by NineInchNachos on 7/20/2008 @ 2:02pm | Anyway I was excited to see the D-Town Market on TeeVee |
by Jake on 8/28/2008 @ 10:06pm | That must have been some punch. I just found out the guy died from it.
"The suspect suffered a massive brain injury as a result of the strike to the head. He was transported to Tacoma General Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries." |
by NineInchNachos on 8/29/2008 @ 9:30am | holy beans! terminal street justice. I wonder if charges have been filed? |
by intacoma on 8/29/2008 @ 9:44am | if your going to punch someone with a gun you want to make sure they can't get up |
by dawntown on 8/29/2008 @ 9:47am | Holy beans is right! That some gritty, street shit, yo.
I have to say, the store owner is a really neat guy and I'm glad to see things didn't hit the fan for him. I've been in there a few times, have talked to him about some of the pictures behind the register, and seen his granddaughter (I think?) toddling around usually. I hope they were not there when this happened. |
by dawntown on 8/29/2008 @ 10:12am | I just noticed the similarities of "Night Fist" and RR's photog of him modeling the 253 too tight tee
Girls, just look at those manly man teets! |
by dawntown on 8/29/2008 @ 2:05pm | Im totally kidding?!?!?!?! |

RR Anderson is one of the most curious characters in the UFO lore and the history of underground cartooning. He fought bizarre underground beings in the caves of Alaska, was wounded by a laser before it was invented, and had a background with the clandestine branch of the Tacoma Cartoonists Society.
