I went out this afternoon to shoot some photographs for a story I'm working on. A good day to do it because it was sunny and cool, and I needed a little fresh air and a brisk walk. My goal of shooting photographs for one article quickly turned into a mini 'photo safari' of various observations along the way. I thought I would post some of those photos to the TDI blog.
I was disappointed to see Art Concepts on Broadway has closed its doors . . .
I haven't been north of City Hall for awhile, so I was pleasantly surprised by the BLID improvements near St. Helens and Market. This will probably turn into a smokers' lounge for City Hall staffers, but it looks nice . . .
This platform offers a cool view of City Hall, the Winthrop, and the top of Russell headquarters . . .
This made me chuckle . . .
No comment needed . . .
An Index newspaper box near 11th and Pacific . . .
I have always liked this view of the city . . .
On a similar note, make sure you read Morgan's article on downtown Tacoma's alleys.

|Love these type of meandering photo blog posts. Nice work Sir. Depressing and funny. My favorite combination!|

|Hey, this Court A view to Wells Fargo is one of my favorite views of Tacoma as well (because for a brief moment you aren't sure you are in Tacoma).
