I drove by the T-Dome this morning en route to the office and noticed workers have done a pretty decent job of dismantling it . . .
Tucked away and under wraps was the new reader board. It had just arrived on the back of a flat-bed truck . . .
It was offloaded onto the parking lot . . .
I hung around for awhile to see if anyone would crack this open like a Christmas present, but it never happened. Look for competing EQC and T-Dome signs along I-5 later this week.

|Here's an idea:
Put up all the giant electronic billboards you want along I-5 in Pierce County, provided you pay $100,000 per sign into a fund to develop and expand regional rail/light rail connections to Pierce County.

|This could be cool. Perhaps when there is no show the sign could just blink "Stop in Tacoma!."|

|I'd gladly pay them like $50 for the stenciled-out metal in the TRON style. It would look great in my apartment.
Own a piece of T-Town history!!!!

|We don't go to many T-Dome shows. Quite frankly the tickets to most shows we would be interested in seeing are too high for a family! And then you have to pay a "convenience fee" to ticketmaster and a "facility fee" whatever that is. I don't know if ticketmaster is the Antichrist but I think a strong case could be made.|

|TicketMaster=owned by Paul Allen.
Microsoft=founded by Gates and Allen.
Considering Windows is the most evil operating system, I'd say you're on to something, Fredo.
@ RR: I just want to cut out the TACOMA DOME stencil, with maybe 3" of extra metal on all sides...
