Soccer club looking for talent for 2011 season
Michael Bumpus knows his football --- the American kind. He's been a Seattle Seahawk, a BC Lion, and even gone indoors with the Spokane Shock. Before he played the grid iron, though, Bumpus was all about soccer. He was on elite youth soccer clubs before he was allowed by his mother to try football in high school. On Saturday April 2 at Stadium Bowl Bumpus put on his soccer cleats in the first day of open tryouts for Tacoma Tide FC.
Below: Fomer Seattle Seahawks player Michael Bumpus talks with Tacoma Tide FC head coach Gerry Gray at the April 2 club open tryouts in the Stadium Bowl.
