The 2012 Tacoma Zombie Festerval and Preparedness Expo- Photos!

You really should have bought a squirrel...

Our favorite Grand Poobah of CLAW, and "Comic Critic" creator, Mark Molnlux, created a flickr group for photos of this past Saturday's 2012 TACOMA ZOMBIE FESTERVAL and PREPAREDNESS EXPO.

Take a look around and relive the terror- or just see what you missed if you were not hip enough to attend...

Interviiewing for a local design position starts this week.

It's not too late- if you hurry.

Looking for an additional production graphic designer at a half-billion dollar company.

Candidate must have well developed Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills- vector design experience is a must. We will teach all photoshop rendering and file construction methods relevant to our product. Hand illustration skills are not necessary for this position, but a good sense of composition and layout is.

We are looking for someone who is serious about a career in medallic design -longevity being a trait that is typically rewarded.

Portfolio reviewed required.

The CLAW Grand Yearly Ceremony is TONIGHT!

That's right, tonight at the Pythian Temple Castle Hall.

Tickets ($5.00 donation) are available at the door, for those who did not get the chance to pick them up from one of the CLAWthorized venues. We promise a shorter slide show this year! And more hooch!

Color, seagulls, and the Coast Guard.

What could go wrong?

A certain un-named local comic artist (let's call him "Britton") desired to see a greater use of color in my comics- so here I bring you a link to the most recent "TZA" comic, which involves an extensive use of color- and a pair of seagulls....

Zombie Challenge coins debut at ZomBcon this Saturday!

Because we all know everyone really wants a counter-zombie challenge coin...

Attention Zombie Hunters!

The Jinxmedic's Integrated Zombie Eradication and Containment Command will be officially unveiling the military's counter-zombie "Charlie Team" commander's award and the IZECC Contract Zombie Hunter challenge coins during ZomBcon this Saturday - at Tacoma's very own BOX TOP VINTAGE merchanting booth! Only a limited number of these jewelry-quality coins are available at the show, so act quickly!

Drop on by the BOX TOP table, say "hi" to Jooley and Chy, and get your TZA comics signed by The Jinxmedic himself (print them out before hand). While you are there, pick up one of these little treasures while they're hot!

See you there- and oh, by the way- ZOMBIES MUST DIE!

New Zombie Comic!

We have a new zombie comic on the web- in living (unliving?) color!

http://zombpocalypse.cartoonistsleague.org

(it's not on the Feed>>Tacoma comic page, because it may not be suitable for those with sensitive constitutions- and as we all know, constitutions matter, darn it.)

No kidding, business is good and we're still expanding.

Said designer MUST be proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite, with strong Adobe Illustrator skills. All initial design work is in vector; final art is rendered in Photoshop. Salary DOE. Office conveniently located on Pierce Transit 700/701 bus route.
