Here today, gone tomorrow: Art at Lark
Thurs. reception at Lark, will miss Chalk Off
Will be absent from this Friday's Chalk Off; Going with the hubby and in-laws to the beach. Hope the weather is better tomorrow than it appears to be so far today.Although I'm skipping town tomorrow, I'll be around today. Please stop by The Lark Gallery at Sanford and Sons this Third Thursday and check out the new "Gods and Monsters" exhibit. Featured artists are myself, James Stowe, Jorge Mota, Mike Capp, Tammi Wren, Mary K Johnson, Gretchen Bailey, Ivan Cunningham, & Ryan Loiselle.
The reception is being held from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. "Gods & Monsters" will be up through August 17. The gallery is open Friday through Sunday from noon to five pm or by appointment.
The exhibit is open to all ages. Note that several pieces contain some nudity; Parents use their own discretion if bringing the kids. Demons, angels, snacks, and the chance to ogle a few sets of monster hooters.
Aaaahhhhhhh!!!
