Geesh. Me neither. I hope Andrea didn't get stuck in unforgiving Tollefson Plaza by herself. If only she had read the "wayfinding" Tacomic beforehand.

Yet, there were thousands of new people in Tacoma so maybe something worked out. |
by tacomachickadee on 7/4/2008 @ 1:03am | if per chance Andrea was the lone chalked ... I have no fear that she could amaze oassersny all by her lonesome. I just hope she wasn't lonesome! |

by Erik on 7/4/2008 @ 2:23pm | Angela Jossy had a nice write up on Tollefson Plaza event:
Another amazing sight was Andrea Trenbeath chalking like a woman on fire! I've never seen anyone chalk so fast that she appeared to be moving like a dancer across her giant creation. I really like that pavement for chalking - so smooth and so wide. Another Chalk off champion, James Stowe, was laying it down like you know he can. What was neat about it was there was one big design that several chalk artists were working on together. Sure there were some individual ones but the one big one with several worker bees warmed my heart after knowing the competitive (but still friendly) spirit of the usual chalk events on Friday. I"m happy to report that Stowe will be painting a door for the Glassroots Door Auction! Yeah! I can't wait to see what he does with his woody canvas. i.feedtacoma.com/AngelaJossy/shore-leave... With that said, the Volcano reported that attendance was a bit sparse: I was stunned when eight people and I represented the Shore Leave crowd last night at 7 p.m. in Tollefson Plaza. weeklyvolcano.typepad.com/spew/2008/07/y... |
