Owner of Intra-Designs a Deadbeat?
Owner/CEO/President of Intra-Designs Refuses to Support His Kids and the Public Deserves to Know!
As of November 9, 2007,
Ty Belknap,
the CEO (and owner)
of Intra-Designs,
a web-design business in Tacoma, WA
owes $20,888.52
in back child support.
Ty is also the owner-operator of the Daffodil Valley Times,
a community web-based newspaper, windowsgalore.com, a Windows troubleshooting website, and several other websites. Ty is also the author of
"How to Make Thousands of Dollars in Two Days" and "How to Save Thousands of Dollars in Two Hours".
Ty’s monthly support obligation for both of his children together is only $625 plus 60% of daycare costs, yet, according to DCS and bank records,
he has paid the full, ordered amount in NINE of the past FIFTY months.
In fact, Ty’s entire contribution to the welfare of his children in October of 2007 was a total of $22.15.
Yes, that’s twenty-two dollars and fifteen cents!
For the entire month of October!
Ty hasn’t been current on his child support payments since 2001, yet he just bought a Honda Odyssey and is planning a vacation to Hawaii.
Since Ty is self-employed, the Division of Child Support is unable to effectively garnish his wages or enforce the medical insurance coverage provision of the support order. Ty hasn’t provided one penny toward medical care for his kids since 1999.
All of Ty’s assets are either in the name of Intra-Designs or in the name of his wife, Tammy Porter (Tammy Belknap) and cannot be attached for his child support debt.
Ty Belknap is a member of the Chamber of Eastern Pierce County. He is also a member of Real Life Family Center church in Spanaway, WA.
I wonder if they know that
Ty Belknap is a “deadbeat dad”.

by NineInchNachos on 12/2/2007 @ 3:07pm | If anybody was curious as to the mysterious origins of this post, you can see more intra-designs aka Ty belknap goodness here. Think of it as a virtual Jerry Springer episode complete with flying chairs, jesus, and frivolous lawsuits featuring yours truly. |
![]() by dongdaemun on 12/3/2007 @ 12:11am | What a jerk that guy is to send you a letter like that.
Why would anyone want to copy his crappy website content? |
by NineInchNachos on 2/12/2008 @ 8:22pm | interesting developments... scary/unspecific pre-paid lawyer letter from Tacoma Lawfirm Lombino Martino, P.S.

by KevinFreitas on 2/12/2008 @ 8:52pm | So have you talked to any lawyer types to try and clear this up NIN? |
by ensie on 2/12/2008 @ 9:00pm | This is simultaneously hilarious and terrifying. How he got your name, NIN, I have no idea. It's like he randomly chose someone off this website to harass. Weather he could actually take further legal action, who knows? |
by NineInchNachos on 2/12/2008 @ 9:07pm | It never ends. It is all very Kafkaesque. |
by NineInchNachos on 2/12/2008 @ 9:09pm | incidentally, this man was the inspiration for miss D.Deeble. |
by NineInchNachos on 2/12/2008 @ 9:17pm | I have no copyrighted material on any of my sites. He has no case.
And nobody can stop him from paying a lawyer to send out scary sounding letters. I question the ethics of his pre-paid law firm for taking money from a man of questionable mental integrity. |
by jenyum on 2/12/2008 @ 9:28pm | Thanks, there's nothing decent on tv tonight.
I wish I'd gone out and bought the bottle of wine before reading this, though. I'm going to go out and do that now and maybe there will be a chair in the air when I get back. |
![]() by downwithdeadbeats on 2/12/2008 @ 11:33pm | I have received two of these $26 intimidation letters from Mr. Belknap's "attorneys"; one accusing me of defamation and the other accusing me of harassment. Of course, neither accusation is true. I think if Ty had a job, maybe he'd have less time on his hands for such nonsense.
NIN, let me know if you need me to testify in court. ;) |
by jenyum on 2/13/2008 @ 12:03am | RR. why'd you go stealing the internets anyway? Everyone knows it really belongs to Canada anyway. |
