Great Dancing, Great Food, Lots of Fun
Studio 6 Ballroom
What do you look for when you want to begin dance lessons? Some people prefer private lessons, others feel more comfortable in a group. Studio 6 offers both.
As far as dancing goes, Studio 6 offers everything from typical ballroom classes (waltz, tango, foxtrot) to social dances like salsa and swing and only recently has the Studio began bachata classes, something not many studios can say. The bachata is a social, club-styled dance, which began in the Dominican Republic and spread like wildfire to Latin Dance Clubs in the states. Most times when a studio offers a salsa night, the bachata is played as well, its slower rhythm offering a nice break from the fast paced salsa.
More than just dancing, Studio 6 offers its space for community events, helping with Relay for Life and this Wednesday, November 18th, the studio is one of the businesses involved with the Progressive Dinner on 6th Ave. During December businesses will open their doors late for the event "Late Shopping" and Studio 6's doors will be open as well to give chilled shoppers some warm cider, and most likely great music.
