blogger nightmare

Get out of my dreams...

Reading blogs before going to bed = not a good idea. I just woke up from a nightmare where I was talking to Tacomaurbanist about last nights gathering and he explained to me how it was amazing and that so many people showed up that he started charging them his hourly rate to listen to him. I was so pissed and I went off on him about how thats complete bs that you advertise a free event and then charge people an arm and a leg to basically listen to him recite his blog. (I'm not really pissed at you just in my dream) :)

Oh it gets better...

For some reason I was at joann fabrics then and I look over and there is a big stack of Exit133 magazines, the cover had a red and pink quilt on it with the exit133 logotype over the top of it and the slogan said "Exit133 and you".

Derek then pops into view and I overhear him explaining to a group of people that it only makes sense that exit133 should expand into the Tacoma knitting world and he said something like you know quilts have been around forever and so its a good market for exit133 to get into. (I understand quilts and knitting are different, this is a dream though..). I grab a copy of the magazine and flip it open to find pages and pages of quilt patterns and I started laughing really hard thinking he really has lost it.

Then I woke up. What a terrible dream

dude. that's some pretty intense dreaming you've got going on. (glad I didn't have to clear up the quilting/knitting issue...) :)

Funny. Although with the band, Jim Dier's professional presentation and the subsequent discussion, it ended up being a better event than many paid ones I have been too.

erik helped me through many ugly divorces. I found his rates very reasonable.
