Moving

Dear Diary its been about 3 years I've lived downtown...time for some change. I've put down an application on a 1800s old victorian mansion in the Stadium District with a clawfoot tub and a shared backyard. If I get it this this will be quite a change... I'm used to having a deck of my own but there is no charm in this new building I'm at. Over the last year I've been really inspired by peoples places that have all of this old victorian details. Amazing molding, unique cabinets etc. None of these condos offer details like homes built in the 1800s.

I've lived in a unit where the only window is a sliding glassdoor, time for some change I need more natural light.

With that said I might be moving soon and dont want to strain my friends with helping me move. I want to just have some big guys show up at my place move my stuff into my new place sign the check and be done.

Anyone know if this is a service in the yellow pages?

Sometimes easier than going with an official moving service. I've done the guy with random hauling ad route and the licensed bonded mover route and found random hauler to actually be much more reliable, about 70% of the time. Your mileage may vary, of course.

Good idea jenyum.

Moving companies can be scary. The prices range wildly and some try to gouge you when they are done and then keep your stuff in their storage if you don't pay.
