capers at Capers
(Mmmm-- good friends, good food!)
We all need friends with exquisite taste.
I have one --well, a couple, really, I'm lucky like that-- who is this amazingly cool, well-balanced, fun, funny, smart, and cultured blend of things. When she tells me she loves a place, I listen.
So when she said she *loved* (much emphasis on the word) Capers, I said let's go! We brought our mates and had a yummy yummy meal. I was stoked to see T3 on the menu, (though I had the house merlot, which was fine) and even more stoked to taste my succulent chicken in a tarragon, tomato, and mushroom sauce. Her crab casserole was tasty, her husband's salmon, perfectly cooked and falvorful, and the significant one enjoyed his linguine.
While service wasn't exactly fast, you can get fast at McDonalds-- but you can't get high-ceilinged, elegantly casual ambience like we enjoyed in the space. And the food was most definitely worth the wait.
I can't wait to go back!
